Irish Trade Mark Applications – DID Electrical, Obey Your Mouth and the Science of Sitting 

All bodies responsible for Trade Marking that are signatories to certain conventions and part of the EU Trade Mark system have the publish the details of all Trade Mark Applications received. The Irish Patents Office doesn’t make that particularly easy. Fortunately for you, I’m all over it like a rash. Here’s the Trade Mark Applications that have been filed for the last week with the Irish Patents Office. 

The fact that they have been submitted, doesn’t mean they will be granted. What happens next is that the various Trade Mark Examiners will look at the applications, and see if the fulfil the criteria for being registered as a Trade Mark, and if there are any preliminary objections to them being so registered. If there are, they will write to the applicant and tell them and give them their options. If not, or once the issues are remedied, they will accept the application, which is then published in the official journal to put everyone on notice of the application and give them a chance to object.
